City and Guilds Forensic Collision Investigation for Police and Police Staff

Description
City and Guilds Scheme Number 3920-06
Part I of this course starts by reviewing the maths and physics required to complete the course before moving on to apply these principles to the techniques used in collision investigation. Theory is reinforced during practical days when students put these techniques into practice.

Part II is usually taken the following year.  The Part II course revisits the techniques learnt in Part I with further inputs relevant to examination technique.  This course prepares the student for the two City and Guilds exams.

Throughout both courses the emphasis is placed on understanding the methods used rather than following rigid procedures.  Successful students will be able to reconstruct collisions and present their evidence in Court.
