University Continuing Professional Development
Certificate in Forensic Collision Investigation The course starts by explaining the maths and physics necessary to understand the discipline. Later modules apply these principles to the techniques used in collision reconstruction. This is reinforced during the practical module when students put these techniques into practice.
Throughout the course emphasis is
placed on understanding the methods used rather than just
following rigid procedures. Full tutor support is provided
throughout. Tutors are also responsible for assessing students
in a series of written assessments which count towards the final
marks.
The course comprises three modules;
Successful students will be able to reconstruct collisions and present their evidence in Court. Successful completion
