About AiTS AiTS was founded in 1996 by Jon Neades and Ric Ward, former police officers with Avon and Somerset Constabulary. The company was set up to provide training in the field of collision investigation, tachograph and traffic law. In 1996 company launched a distance learning course in forensic collision investigation open to both police and non-police collision investigators. In 2003 AiDamage a software program which predicts the speed lost by a vehicle by measuring the crush damage. This was followed a short time later by RelMo plan draw and 3D animation software. In 2007 the Company started providing expert reports in civil litigation cases. This side of the business has continued to grow steadily. 2008 saw the launch of DigitalAnalyst, a software program allowing collision investigators to interpret the speed, acceleration and distance from data stored in Eurpean approved digital tachographs. In 2009 the Company left its rented premises at Birdlip in Gloucestershire, buying a new office at South Cerney in the heart of the Cotswold Water Park. The Company continues to provide training in collision investigation, tachograph and traffic law. It has trained collision investigators as far west as Canada and as far south as Australia. AiDamage is now used around the world by the police and research insitutes. In 2011 sees the launched of a degree in forensic collision investigation in partnership with De Montfort University Leicester.
